Tammy McRary, Hospital Manager

Tammy McRary, Hospital Manager at Lenoir Animal Clinic

Tammy joined the team in 2000 as our hospital manager. She strives to keep all facets of the hospital operations in sync so that you receive the best possible client experience. She loves all pets, but she especially loves to see the puppies and kittens. In her free time, she enjoys camping, going to the Outer Banks of NC, spending time with her family, their two dogs Sadie & Lucy, and their cat Cricket.

Kim Barnes, Assistant Manager

Kim is our go to kitty whisperer. She is our assistant manager and lead veterinary assistant. She has been in the animal medical field for over 20 years. Kim loves all animals, but felines seem to find her wherever she goes. Kim assists the doctors in surgery, lab work, x-rays, dental cleanings, and much more. Kim has one son and 6 cats. In her free time she enjoys trips to Asheville and knitting projects.

Donna came to our office in the fall of 2015. She attended Caldwell Community College for Medical Office Administration. When she isn't making appointments, or replying to emails, she takes care of our food inventory as well as preventive care supply counts. Donna is married and has 2 miniature pinschers, Bodie and Bella. She enjoys trying new restaurants and reading a good book on the weekends.


Melissa at Lenoir Animal Clinic

Angela is a native of Hudson. She has lived in Caldwell County most of her life. Angela acquired her first position at Lenoir Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Assistant in 2010. She now works as a Veterinary Assistant and Customer Service Specialist. Angela enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son as well as her German Shephard Sage.

Renita joined Lenoir Veterinary Hospital in 2011. She has worked in the veterinary field for 20 years as a veterinary assistant and in customer service. In her spare time she enjoys photography and trips to Boone and Asheville with friends and family.

Kim at Lenoir Animal Clinic

Kim started working in our office in May 2014. She has over 20 years experience in the veterinary medical field. She assists the doctors in surgery, x-ray, lab work and dental cleanings. Kim is married with 2 sons, and 2 granddaughters. She has 6 dogs that occupy her spare time.


Monica at Lenoir Animal Clinic

Monica started working at our office in the spring of 2010 in our boarding facility. She has since advanced to the position of veterinary assistant. She helps wherever she is needed, and she loves talking with our clients. She is married with one daughter. Monica has 2 cats, and 1 dog. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with family.

Victoria's career at Lenoir Veterinary Hospital started as an intern in high school. After graduating, she started working as a kennel assistant. She quickly advanced in all skill levels and is now our lead surgery technician. Victoria is also a NC Certified Emergency Medical Technician. During her free time she enjoys helping with many rescue groups in the area.

Angel of Lenoir Veterinary HospitalAngel joined our team in 2015. She is responsible for our boarding guest and provides their daily care and lots of love while their owners are away. Angel's goal is to help our furry friends feel like they are at home while staying in our boarding facility. She is married and has dogs, cats and horses that occupies most of her spare time.


Angel of Lenoir Veterinary HospitalKali is our newest employee. She started in the fall of 2017. Kali works both as a veterinary assistant and kennel assistant. She plans to go to school to learn how to train service dogs. Kali enjoys playing video games and going to concerts in her spare time.
